Last weekend I did a walk for the SPCA. It was a wonderful family event. They had bouncy castles, face painting, lots of snacks, and lots of pets. It was great to meet so many people that support this good cause.
I also got to have my picture taken with this lovely Newfoundland Dog.
During this past weekend, I also went to some Canada Day Appearances. I spent the early afternoon in Conception Bay South at their celebrations where they had a band performing as well as some very talented dancers. They also had many things for kids like bouncy castles, face painting, and it was at the same place as a park. I had loads of fun playing with the children and climbing the monkey bars with them. One little girl taught me how to properly turn around on the monkey bars so I could climb back down the other side.
Later that evening, I went to Quidi Vidi Lake for more Canada Day Celebrations. They had a band playing there as well, and there were a lot of people with blankets on the grass waiting for the fireworks. It was great seeing so many people out to celebrate our beautiful countries 145th birthday!
